Beginner level:
Appropriate for first-time zouk dancers and anyone wanting to get more familiar with the most common basic moves, as well as concepts like counting the musicIntermediate level:
Our trademark Zoukphoria frame/elasticity/footwork-focused level! Learn the secrets behind being a clear & comfortable lead or follow. In particular, we focus on developing a deep understanding of the follow's mechanics. For leads, we use that understanding to inform how 'proper' technique should look.Advanced level (entry by assessment only):
For those who successfully test out of our intermediate level, we teach the ins and outs of head movement in zouk, keeping our focus on follow's technique and correct mechanics.
Assessments
For our advanced level, we require students to pass an assessment covering the concepts that we teach at the intermediate level. Each month, the intermediate & advanced levels use the first class of the month to review these concepts and conduct assessments.
